my protein levels in my blood are highest when i'm getting most of my protein from NON-MEAT sources...

eggs, whey protein shakes, protein bars, tempeh, seitan, etc.



also, a lot of people have problems properly breaking down wheat...so, try to get your carbs from sources like rice and vegetable starches like potatoes


make sure you have a multi-vitamin, b-complex and iron supplement

get an iron supplement that's non-animal/vegan. your body will probably break it down easier



i'm not saying stop eating wheat and meat, but make sure you're getting carbs and protein from sources that are easier for the body to handle and process quickly when your metabolism is sky rocketing from training
