The whole bulking up isn't just through the consumption of protein, you need to eat quite a bit alot of those bodybuilders eat at least 3500 calories a day during their bulking stages. Your protein consumption during a day should be in theory 1 gram for every pound you weigh. (ie. 155 g/day in my case). Like tsunami said whey protein is just a by product of cheese and casein protein is a by product of milk.
