Man, so many different views on this topic! Dope, dope, dope! I've only been breaking for about a year now but reading these threads has reminded me of why I started. Dancing has always been something I've enjoyed and bboying has brought out a side of me I didnt know. I'm not that skilled, I'm not going to be the best anytime soon, so I just practice. I Practice knowing that some other cat who's better than me might call me out if he gets the chance so I will be ready. I train with a crew (17.42) but im not in one. I feel I have much to learn in the scene before I even think about trying to join or start a crew. One thing I do know is this: When I battle you may beat me with moves, but I'm not gonna let you make me look like a chump. I'll dance 10 times better than you will and you'll know it. My style and flava will make your moves seem unimportant and useless. I dont know the difference in time besides what I've seen in clips but bboying is always growing and changing and we have control of where it goes and dosen't. The second we dont feel that, we've lost it. Innovate and re-create at the same time.
