I gotta go with Rush on this one..
You are expressing your disdain on the matters youve seen and read off the internet reMeks.

Bashing the whole Zulu Nation is rediculous. If youre speaking of a few figureheads within the crew then say so.
Hip-Hop is a culture with B-boying being one of the elements under its umbrella.
Discrediting a person in an argument is fine, but an organization or crew wholly is weak.

If you did some history Afrika Bambaataa was one of the sole contributors to the origination of hiphop in general. So marking a whole crew then taking it back is hypocrisy.

I do agree with you points on people taking positions of OG's just because they were there first
some people do think they're living/breathing examples of hiphop and that what they do wholly
is what they think every person in hiphop should be. In that case thats just wrong.

-----------------------------------------------

But back to the original thread (which always seems to end a vicious arguments, lol)

The Rawness I cant say enough about. Ive watched Grav do his thing and his temperment in a battle is comparable to long time experienced bboys as well.

Personally other variables not covered already (internet being the strongest example, then music)
is just people growing up in the hiphop culture within their own communites. Rawness and animosity I find, usually come from individuals growing up from certain lifestyles.

For example, someone who grew up around/in the hood or around hoodlums would naturally more easily have that fire in their eyes when their talents were grown in/thru a bboy cypher.
i.e. from above, tells stating that mans used to scrap after battling
(nba) players from various hoods who eventually became pro

Other examples outside the hood would be naturally talented people who happened to learn from known leaders in their respective athletic/bboy community. Like an athlete who people come to see as naturally born athletes (this can be seen from numerous talents in any sport or athletic community or form of physical competition)

i.e. ill ass bboys (with clout) that come from the burbs or a background of known 'peace' and assumed wealth <--- note; that some people claiming they're the REALEST use that sole point as a weakness in some which I find is incredibly stupid.

Lastly, rawness is, if anything, found FIRST to a new jack or growing bboy/breaker in CYPHERS.
Thus, the jams you or they go to must have that RAW feel. If the music and or the people themselves suck
I'm sorry, then you'd have to watch and learn from either the internet (lol!) or take a vacation to a city
that has a known music history. Specifically in hip-hop. Get in there and just DANCE. Then source from that.

peace
