China's B-boy Scene

I know a lot of people are curious about what's going on in China right now.. there are a lot of b-boys who deserve to get recognition and exposure, but it's tough for Chinese b-boys to get out of the country due to restrictions on visas. Posting footage on the internet is complicated as well, as the government here blocks Youtube/Twitter/Facebook/etc.

So... I'm working on a project in Shanghai and around the rest of China right now to document what's going on within the Chinese hip hop scene, with a focus on the b-boys, called the Freshest Kids in China. Go check it out!!

Yoooo this is what's up! I was in Tianjin, China this past summer and danced with a Chinese bboy crew (D.R.C. Dance Revolution Crew). I had a great time, but unfortunately didn't learn much history. I've been itching to find more since I've got back.

Word up. China has some dope scenes. Beijing is definitely the most Active, but I've lived there and Shanghai, and I can see more and more activity here too.

I went to Shanghai last september to perform at the world expo and i sessioned with the bboys over there and they got some dope hip hop dancers as well over at Fudan University. If you guys are the same guys from that time, Whats up!? hahaha
