With protien for t he most part, you get what you pay for. However, I've seen a couple that arn't too pricey or have worked for me. EAS makes one you can get a costco that sells for like 25 buck and is a great deal but not the best protien. Also the one I have right now is made by Snytrax and is called matrix and runs about 50 bucks look it up on bodybuilding.com they have good prices. The biggest thing to remember is that getting your protien from natural sources gives you the most benifit but protien is a lot better than nothing and faster too.

A good recovery drink has a 4:1 ratio of Carbs to Protein. To be honest, Chocolate milk would make for a good recovery drink if you get one that's low in fat or fat free.

this really depends on what your trying to do and what you are doing as a workout. cuz if u have a crappy workout and u drink protein drinks your just gonna get fat and overweight off the drinks. and depending how much you drink you will gain alot of weight.

I recommend MuscleMilk or BSN protein Shakes that contain glutamine.

Chocolate Milk is a great recovery drink. You can also make your own recovery drink by adding these ingredients to a blender: a handful of Quaker oats, a glass of low fat milk, 3-4 scoops of peanut butter and some fresh fruits like bananas or strawberries. You can also add some honey for a sweeter taste.
