Havent Bboyed since the early ages, must be about 6ish years now, currently unfit and a bit chubby (Cries).
Was wondering what is the best way about getting back into shape? Should I lay off weight training until im back in shape? Is protein something to be taken if your currently out of shape?
Depends on your goals if your looking for Cardio you should look up and read about HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training).
If your looking to shed off fat in certain areas like arms or wherever you can always do weights that target those certain areas like for example flabby upper arms working triceps will get rid of that.
Thanks that actually would be great, do you think weight training would be a good idea so early though? would getting to bulky effect my stamina? (which is pretty bleh atm :P)
bulkiness wont effect stamina unless you dont train for stamina at all. its two completely differect areas that youre training. cardio is probably the best way to boost stamina and lose some extra pounds. if your talking stamina in your muscles, then do high reps because it builds muscular endurance
go low on the carbs and try to eat alot of protein also lifting weighs will increase your metabolism but that equals less time to bboy because of soreness.
also how many calories you consume is a big factor so dont over eat.

watch what u eat don't eat late night. Then with your bboy everything will just come off naturally,i used to box and when i stopped i put on alot of weight i went and trained with a friend who breaks and i got super fit my stomach got hard n my stamina was crazy n that was all the top rocking and footwork drills.Even to this day i still incorperate breaking drills in my training so you should b cool just jog n open up your lungs.
