Hey Ness!

Can I play 20 questions with you? A convo between two guys that are old enough to have gone to see Kung Fu, Blaxploitation and Godzilla flicks in the movie theaters and have seen the rise, fall and resurgence of quote Hip Hop. I'll be Siskel and Ebert and you can be Quentin Tarrantino.

1. Growing up in the Bronx (1 word answer).
truth
2. First hand experience vs Internet experience.
intimate over internet
3. When someone who has far less time in the game than you tries to dispute you_________(Fill in the blank)
i try to ignore them
4. Friend or Foe?
universal balance
5. The statment "I am Hip Hop" but only knows breaking.
neva heard of him
6. The true origin of the Drunken Style and is it as effective as the 40 Pace Iron Palm?
same seed, renegade outcasted shaolin monk and avid wine conesgior, as effective? depends on how much one drinks. (you cant kill what you cant touch)
7. 70's 80's or 90's ?
80's has the best of both worlds, the aftermath of the 70's, and the foundation of the 90's (and thats in everythig from entertainment to life, not just hip hop)
8. Three things people know about you that they should never forget, or else!
1-im not a "bboy" im a grown as fucking man, diss me as a bboy, on the dance floor and you get bboy shit, diss me as a man in any other arena you get man shit (but most folks know that, and thats why they make a screen names)
2-i find it hard to pull my other leg out of my street side and stick it with my right leg on my spiritual side so i can walk one path, cats who dont know me are the ones who speak shit, however, cats who have met me and spent more than 2 minutes just breathing the same air as me knows whats up. however its hard for me to switch up as many did before me and i admire those cats the most. bboys like rip7 (rsc) who was a stick up kid in the early 80's and now saves lives for a living working for EMS is the cats who i find more inspiring than any big name bboy.
3-dispite my buddhist beliefs im still infactuated with fire arms, and stealth means of carrying them (but that comes from s that 007 shit we grew up on)
9. Why is the statement "up in the Bronx where the people are fresh" a true statement?

The Bx gave birth to the era of "fresh" the whole vibe, swagger, look, feel, sound, talk, vibe and energy. the bronx and everything about it IS hip hop. infact hip hop is just a word to describe bronx niggas and how we live. its the reason why you boy can see me wearing a vest and say "you aint gangsta" and i can look at what he is wearing, how he is dancing, how he is acting, and say "nigga you aint bronx" (had to go there)
10. Beef, handle it or forget it?
to really handle beef you have to understand the nature of the person giving it to you. once you
if you aready know a how a person gets down, then theres no reason for them to surprise you. i already know such and such is the devil incarnated, so not ony do i dont fuck with them, i dont put anything beneath them, once you get that, there is no beef, you always know to ecspect the worse from some people and the best form others. if theres no surprises, theres no beef, theres only "i knew it"

12. Growing up I'm the culture as its happening vs trying to get involved 30 years later.
13. Always having a Target on you seems to make you smile. Do you still enjoy being the Target after all these years?
14. Clark wallabees (1word answer)
15. Why will the world never understand you?

culture shock, but im trying to learn to deal with it. times change and if i choose to stay in the game i have to deal with it
12. Growing up I'm the culture as its happening vs trying to get involved 30 years later.
is when certain peeps have to review questions 3 and 5 and play thier positions.
13. Always having a Target on you seems to make you smile. Do you still enjoy being the Target after all these years?
oh hell yea! all the hate is what keeps me relevant today. 99% of my ype is started by the haters lol. thats why questions and interviews like these scare my wife, she feels its just intended for me to show my ass and fuel more hate, cause she knows imma speak from the heart and most people dont like it. almost how this interview just went from godzila and kung fu movies to my oipinions on certain shit.
but my thing is, as long as it comes from the heart, and is undeniably real, then fuck the world, some of this planets most realest niggas were crucified, hung, burned, assasinated, jsut for being real. at the least the internet wont kill me and the people i truely am a threat to aint got the balls to be so drastic.
funny thing is if you read around and look at the people using terms and words like "keep it real" stay true to the game" the essence" the truth" are the same mutha fuckas who hate me for being just that. its actualy funny watching earthlings contradict themselves. so having the target is a plus. look at TEKNYC, the whole weekend every one attalcked him, but geuess what? when the ibe video comes out they gonna see tek vs the jam, and who is really going to shine? all of them or tek?
14. Clark wallabees (1word answer)
SUPERFLYICANBUSTFUNKYFLYADOCIOUS (you said one word)
15. Why will the world never understand you?
because they are too busy judging then trying to understand me. most people read my post and skim though it until they can pick out one line they feel they can dispute.
its like a figer pointing to the moon... blah blah blah
everyone says, "i dont always agree with what you said but" you know what? what i say is history, abotu a a time most of these cats wasnt around, what is there to disagree on? then you got some og haters that will wisper in young cats ears and feed them shit to say and the young cats repeats his shit just to put his foot in his mouth. when the young cats should really be telling the og hater, ?why dont you say it?, your the authority, not me"
whyÉ cause the og fears ness my blow up his shit too, and that would be the ultimate disgrase to some of these og who only live off their pride and egos. (had to go there too)

16. Why does smacking someone in the mouth at a jam because he came off incorrectly towards you feel so right but is looked at as wrong.

17. If Bambaata gave you the power to change one thing in this culture what would it be?

18. Who's more hardcore Jim Kelly or Fred Williamson and who would you be?

19. The go off, sex or sex at the go off?

20. The toughest obstacle you ever had to deal with. Can be in life, in the circle, being bullied in school etc.

21. Bonus question. Who is the heir to the Ness throne?

16. Why does smacking someone in the mouth at a jam because he came off incorrectly towards you feel so right but is looked at as wrong.
cause people are ignorant, they rather say `thats fucked up, he smaked him`instead of saying, `well homeboy mustve done something real fucked up to deserve it
17. If Bambaata gave you the power to change one thing in this culture what would it be?
ì dont think bam has that power.
18. Who's more hardcore Jim Kelly or Fred Williamson and who would you be?
i have to go with jim kelly on both questions, fred is bad, but jim never had to pull a trigger. plus i like jims outfits better.
19. The go off, sex or sex at the go off?
sex before, during and after the go off!
20. The toughest obstacle you ever had to deal with. Can be in life, in the circle, being bullied in school etc.
my toughest obstacle was always me, once i leanred to deal with me it was all easy
21. Bonus question. Who is the heir to the Ness throne?
heir is yet to name since im not ready to fall back. a true king will always know how to keep his thrown even when he cant be on the frontline of war
