Sorry MICKEY ICE ... this is how it goes down ... SPEEDY is notorious for being a LYAR ... every OLD SCHOOL head in MIAMI knows that .... MR.FLEX did not move to MIAMI til 1982 at least ... FLEX came around my old hood trying to recruit some of my peoples , but did not happen cause he played himself by wanting us to join the infamous ROCKWELL ASSOCIATION in which he had no authority and we all new it .... so from there on we saw MR.FLEX as a clown .....SPEEDY was NOT remotely a BBOY then......MENDEZ just probably took his word for it .... I would place SPEEDY around late 83 into 84 ...not to mention he started late in the game .... so don't be fooled by his AGE ....By the way, He was NOT an original STREET MASTER either ..... as confirmed by my man KID FREEZE who started the crew for the movie CRY OF THE CITY.
