for dancers to advance this culture to where it belongs it starts with the comps, un=fortunately cats be acting like animals and thats why it would never be taking seriously.

and aslong as there is always wack judging and controversey behind those same judges, comps will never be gtaken to a serious arena.
at the least with the octogon i tried to bring forward (AND DID) the first bboy sport with a court that can be respected by theblegends, the competitors and the viewers.
you are totaly wrong, advancing in this culture doesnt start in the cyphers, it styarts on how we present the total package.
long time ago, basketball was only a fruit basket hanging on someones barn, once rules, regulations, and a SUITABLE COURT and reputable and qualified referieswas put into place, it became a sport.
mark my words, the octogon will be seen on tv one day regularly and we will all enjoy watching our kids and grand kids get paid royaly for thier sport, but until US the practitioners dont get our shit together, it aint going anywhere near there.
getting our shit together means actualy learning the dance, not the moves,
