Damn this is golden!
"Everything influenced us, we payed homage to everything before us, we payed homage to everything that surrounded us, the look, the attitude, aggressiveness, anger, frustration, all this energy explodes in this dance form, that's why you have a built up, that's why you need transitional moves. Because it shows each individual, the anger, the frustration, without an outlet, but the music gave us this form of outlet."
"People who are dancing today have to understand where they come from, why they fell in love with this dance, and why it's easier for them to interpret the way they feel, what was passed on to their heritage, what's going on in their social environment, and what is even happening in their own home. This is our way of using self-expression and interpretation of what we feel, it comes out through the dance. It allows us to take charge of who we are, because ones you find yourself, you empower yourself, you have a sense of purpose on how you want to control what you want to do from that point on."
How can you even be called a bboy if you don't even know where you coming from! Thanks a lot for posting this Mikey! And of course even more thnx to roxrite and then some more to trac2!!

just so you know, the text between "" is qouted from trac2 so respect to him, not to me for that
but word, your expressions make sense like you described, you're 're-enacting' like ness said acting vs re-enacting @ the end of this clip: YouTube - Mighty4TV: Rock Force & Style Elements park session w/ Alien Ness preview
Edit: actually not quite sure if he says real acting or re-enacting, English is my 2nd language, but you get my point
