Yeah, I think it's part of the process is getting used to how you move. The you in your mind, and the you in the physical world don't always match, if that makes any sense.
And then the term "You are your own worse critic" comes into play too. |

i have battled 1on1 recently at one event. went to the final and lost there. sounds kinda ok, but when i watched the footage i was like wtf, looks like a shit:S i do have good ideas, but the execution at the end and for all the clothes, that i wear, do need some changes.

lol the first year i was breaking I had never seen myself on video... but i was the only one in my crew doing flares and windmills and stuff and they always gave me props for it...
so in my mind i was really good... untill i saw a video off myself..... ..... ..... ..... ... lets just say i was almost about to cry hahaha...... cause in my mind I was doing everything a lot better I was so dissapointed... it helped me clean up though a good tip to help you through that is to record yourself as much as possible...not only when you battle but a specially when you are training etc....it will help you with improving techniqe find a better posture and since a camera isn't going hype over someting you can be your own judge wheater something is dope or not |

Everybody thinks they are wack......if you thought you were good.....you'd probably start slacking and stop improving.
Even most of your hero bboys thinks they are wack on the inside. It's normal to be discontent with your work........that just means you're hungry to get better. |
