First off, don't hate on my music taste which you know nothing of.
My favourite artists and producers are actually Ghostface, Jay Electronica, Andre 3000, RZA and No I.D., but that doesn't mean I can't listen to Rick Ross, Drake or Wayne.
And you still act as if Rick Ross doesn't rap over soulful production, wtf is that about?
How can you deny that songs like Valley of Death, Maybach Music, Tears of Joy or Cigar Music are soulful?
Rick Ross is doing good things man, bringing the soul back into mainstream hiphop.
And now you're judging an artist on the 2nd most COMMERCIAL SONG on his whole album. Like I said Take Care is LOADED with true emotion, maybe a bit too much but still it's a real album.
Don't be so negative about mainstream hiphop and don't disregard my whole music taste from two posts.

I'm just saying if you think soulful is rick ross, then you have issues, that's all I said. Rick ross is not a good a rapper I'm sorry, I actually have Teflon Don so I'm not ignorant to him. My homeboy will probably get his new album. I won't he lack lyrical content and isn't nearly enough substance for me. When I hear soulful I hear shit like Jill Scott, Common, Erykah Badu, Blu, Dela, 9th Wonder, people who aren't afraid of being real. Not Officer Ricky, sorry but I just can't accept that you think rick ross is soulful. The only reason why any of those songs you mentioned are not pure garbage is because of the featured artists. I didn't say take care was bad either just the same old shit, not enough substance, it was more of an RNB album. I think I have the right to disregard your musical tastes for now on though, since rick ross has got maddd soul in your book. I never once said I don't listen to any of the artists you mentioned.
Alc is dope, I agree the production is dope. There's way more to music than a beat though if officer ricky isn't spittin hot shit then it's just a dope beat. Curren$y is fire, I definitely vibe to his beats, but sometimes his lyrics can be a little flat. Jay is straight. What I look for in a song is the whole package if the MC isn't bringing anything to the table then it's not me, real shit. Wale is one of the better rappers today the same can be said about lupe, I vibe to just about any thing conscious. It's mostly because of what I was fed on, boom bap, Native tongues, Premo shit, and Duckdown.

Wooooord! That's what's up! We need to link up and see how we can spread the culture to the inner city!!! Your right, the inner city is what fueled the b-boy scene from the beginning!
