I know the first people I saw bboying again in 1990 were dabbling in capoeira. I credit the capoeira influence during that period with the drunken style-power moves-landing on your face trend. That's how I remember it.

when i first started bboying i got watched cloud because he did alot of capoeira moves. but thats the thing i know tons of bboys who can do a few moves the flashier ones but not the footwork and ground work...like hell do knock does those 5 raizes in a row and websters but nothing else.
alot of people dabble in it..but im more interested in people more serious about the art..like possibly former or current capoeirists.
