and the other difference from the 90's is deejay always played back to back hiphop jams and even after

it wuz dope to see the energy back then, but to me the average skill level wuz lower, sets were madd short. toprock,footwork,and some kinda freeze and thats it. now u gotta have a long ass set with like three punchlines lol. all i can say is be the change u want to see, if u like the energy then come out with madd energy!!!

yeah, man i came in 2001 and i was juiced all the time to go out and foot it to sessions where niggas battle and do straight power combos and no tricks for days and now its fucking crazy which is kind of dope but shit has hella changed in my scene its kind of hella herbish but whatever.

I remeber back in the days you could crash all day long but as long as you came with your originality and creativity you got mad love and respect. Now a days you gotta be ON point. Styles arent the same...bboys are scared to be different now, mainly cause people now consider certain styles "not bboying". Example: if boorock or rawbzilla came back in the scene 2009 without anyone knowing who they are i guarantee there will be bboys out there who would say thats not "bboying" when in reality those guys are pioneers or as what Poeone would say Laughing Rocks. Thats why that DVD is important cause it show the truth behind the originators. The scene doesnt give much love to a lot of different styles mostly cause some style dont really consist footwork, beat hitting, flava, tops, or even dress different.Thats all i gotta say. I could go on but my head hurts haha peace.

MY RESPECTS TO: LOZ, STYLELEMENTS, OSA, Ground Zero,Havikoro, Freakshow,SourPatch, Animal farm,Circle Of Fire,Full Force,SOul Control and others who stuck to there guts and did there things not giving a fuck what others thought about there styles. Peace God Bless
