My opinion is that the majority of bboys that have their own original style or lil bit of flavor in the way they dance (tops/groundwork/air moves/flips/tricks) it's because they have the experience and years behind the dance. One only can develop their own style once they find theirselves within this dance/art form. On the other hand I do see most bboys that practice the dancing and groundwork/freezes portion of the dance develop their own style quicker than others that only practice blowups/power moves first...maybe it's not a fact but it's the way i've seen it this last 12 years bustin loose.
Nomather if I do a sixstep or a flare, or an rollback-elbowfreeze or a backflip, I ALLWAYS focus on the execution, and not just the fact that I do that shit... That's what to focus on style is... Focusing on how your shit looks. I see alot of footworkers at high level, with baaad powermoves, but they still do it... Those footworkers should focus more on style. This goes all the ways of course, nomather what your speciality is.
