saving crashes

this question might be kind of confusing.

if you learn a smooth way to recover from a crash when you are training, should you train that recovery just as much as you do the move???

for example, say you dont hit a certain freeze and your foot touches the ground so you turn that into a transition.

but you still want to train hitting that freeze as well.

but you also feel like you should train the crash just in case.

isnt that just going to confuse the hell out of your body what its supposed to be doing at that point in time??

you only train that recovery when u crash lol so you train your freeze over and over but as soon as you fall you bust ur recovery, well thats how i should do it

every bboy or bbgirl is different though, not just in how they do their stuff in jams but also how they train

what i'm trying to say is that there is no wrong here, you can practice only freeze and it will give you a great freeze or you can practice freeze + recovery in case you fall out wich is also a good thing since there is no way you mess up, see wich one works for you and use that type of training

k alot of ppl seem to be saying crash...but if i want to have clean movements, my WHOLE style cant just be smooth transitions out of crashes....cos then its gonna look like im not even doing anything just rolling around on the floor.....

if i train both options simultaneously, my body is going to not know what to do when i get to that part in my set....

btw i was inspired by that same Nasty Ray video to start thinking about this stuff
