lol i was just talkin in general about the chair spin iverson, i meant any impressive power move that we've seen before, though it wasn't as impressive to me because ive seen my boy Nick Abat in California do it many times too haha. The thing that freaks me out is, if these guys are getting trained by different people from different CREWS, how do alot of them ALL look alike? like I understand when crew members styles look alike (like knuckleheads cali, killafornia, top 9) because they practice with each other, but these guys all dont practice together on a regular basis like that. and most of these guys are all in their late teens/ +20's, not little kids, have been dancin for years, they should know what it means to be creative. Dont defend them about this, because it's not just them, it's the trend of alot of bboys around the world now (except japan, good god those fools stay creative, every battle i watch, especially from unknown bboys i see somethin ive never seen before). From my first year of breakin, I always tried to develop my own special moves and style unique to myself, using youtube as a tool to make sure no one had done them before (at least famous people). These guys have help from the top guys in the game, they have even less excuse.
NOW UNDERSTAND, I'm NOT hating on them in any way shape or form. These guys are dope and will smoke alot of cats in competitions. But what i worry about is the lasting effect, what makes them memorable in the future to everyone, instead of shining for a bit, then being lost in the history books.

Strife.tv just posted this on facebook and follows exactly what i said.
"Where I come from, you had to be original. You had to come up with your own little moves. It doesn't matter if it's a big move. It had to be a dope original concept." -Roxrite
How many of you can dance behind a white curtain, and people will instantly tell who it is because of the moves?

Alot changes in a small period of time so there is potential for the same to occur with these bboys. In an instant they can change their style, tweak, or evolve in any sense of the word. This applys to every bboy. It only takes a moment where u can create a move or transitions or do something u've never done that changes the cypher.

you're wrong about that... machine has been machine since he has been machine.. thesis has been thesis the same. it's the WAY they do their moves, ESPECIALLY the small moves. like having your own signature..written signature, you move the pen a certain way. you have that from the beginning, you don't change your signature DRASTICALLY after a while....you will write the same way forever.

Let me drop an example, thesis vs miracles. That's the only footage i remember i don't watch footage like that, but clearly he isn't the same in that clip in contrast to now. People develop in time, If you cant acknowledge that truth and say that machine is machine, thesis is thesis, then u dont understand the idea of progression. If ur tryin to tell me thesis could be accepted at international events at that caliber in that clip then i dont know what kind of logic ur workin with. I repeat, Some people develop over time. and i don't mean to drag out a thread with thesis's name on it, but a point is a point.
