is this what it feels like when american bboys watch korean bboys break and then see their fans go nuts for it for no reason?
coz i mean i just saw kamel do a one handed zulu spin and the crowd blew the fuck up for it. not to mention casper crashed that ending air freeze in his first set. sorry, but for the past few years anything that isnt a 100% clean execution has been a crash by "the international bboy federation standards" and casper drops on his ass and no one says a thing?
anyways i'll let y'all have your moment....

I dont think it was for no reason a majority of the people in the audience were people that have never been to a bboy jam and the stuff that Kamel and Casper were doing was really entertaining. Its just the way they present it and rock the stuff they were doing. Look at what Kamel was doing he wasnt doing anything technical or crazy intricate but just his attitude and the way he ROCKED it to the music and was just in the moment was what got people just really wrapped up in what he was doing. Thats just one of those things you cant really feel through video you just had to be there. I can honestly say there was no other crew that night that captured the crowd in the way that Boogie Brats did that night and they came away with the W.
peace

Three observations for you.
1) I don't know enough about Casper, perhaps he was going for an air freeze there and fucked up. But the reason I'm not sure is because of how well he played it off if he did. Mid-air he folded his arms, with maybe what less than a second to make that decision; point being if he did fuck up, dude corrected instantly, and turned it into a dope fucking suicidal move. We can't be perfect in an imperfect world (things like gravity won't let us), but I'll be damned if you can't improvise when necessary. That's the person who will get the closest to it. And that's why we can fly from NY to California in 6 hours today.
2) If you're going to be that picky, Focus didn't land his trademark headspin very cleanly either. Watch the end of his 1st set. It was noticeable that his knee probably got a little bruised from that one. But you know what, it looked NICE. I don't like that people like you come along with the eagle eye trying to take shit away from bboys. I don't mind if a judge does it, that's his job. I don't even mind if you do it, but I stil don't like it. The thing I hate is when you apply some shitty double standard, mention how the bboy/crew you dislike didn't execute 100% so they crashed, but fail to mention that your favorite bboy/crew did the same fucking thing. If you're going to be picky, do it 100% too.
3) If Pearl Jam's lyrics were misheard by even one female, she would think, "What? But I CAN find a bitter man. He's at bboyworld.com and he posts under the name Dr.Soctopus!" It's healthy to be happy man.
props to flow mo though, i felt like focus was a little off, otherwise he coulda murked casper

It's peace, unity, love and having fun under the wonderness of God no matter what God you pray to."
