I didn't even know that Oz Rock passed away. Man, I remember seeing him on all sorts of random tv flicks & things here & there back in the late 80s as a lil' kid...Way before ever I'd ever thought of actually hitting the floor!
Shit, I remember seeing him in Body Rock, and this lil movie called 'Breakin' Through' with Ben Vereen, and the latino guy from New York Undercover! He's also in this old school 80's flick in a lil' scene from this old school skateboarding movie called Thrashin'.
But wow...Didn't think his time would come so soon. I know he was going through some stuff at some point, and just went on with his life, and did his thing out the limelight. But I'm sure there were fans of his who wished he had the chance to come out and sort of give his opinions & stories on some things nowadays for the younger generation. Alot of good knowledge left with him.
But peace & condolences to Oz and his family.
RIP
